Discuss whether the findings about equality in hunter-gathering societies are of any relevance to 21st century society

Some people say that egalitarian systems, for example where there is no class distinction and where women and men share the same roles, are not "traditional" or "natural" - so a finding that in the very beginning of humanity the society was more egalitarian would undermine those arguments. Therefore such findings are very relevant to the modern context and can be used to support current arguments.
