Slope = (1 - 2)/(0 -(-2) = -1/2

The slope would be [tex] \frac{-1}{2} [/tex].

You can calculate slope by using the following formula:

[tex] \frac{y2-y1}{x2-x1} [/tex]

[tex] \frac{1-2}{0-(-2)} [/tex]

[tex] \frac{-1}{2} [/tex]
