It is -58 so i think your messed up with the multiple choices.

t = - 4

isolate (t + 6) by dividing both sides by 3.5

t + 6 =[tex]\frac{7}{3.5}[/tex] = 2

subtract 6 from both sides

t = 2 - 6 = - 4
