The kite has vertices D(0, 3b), E(a, 0), and F(0, -5b). What are the coordinates of G?

Check the picture below.

let's recall that in a kite has 2 pairs of equal sides and that longer diagonal will split in two equal halves the smaler diagonal.

now point D has an x-coordinate of 0, so it must be lying on the y-axis.

point F also has an x-coordinate of 0, so it lies on the y-axis as well.

point E has an x-coordinate of 0, so it lies on the x-axis, as you see in the picture.

point G must also lie on the x-axis and an equal distance from the center of the kite as point E.
