There are actually two correct answers, one of them is y-4=-0.5(x-4)

First of all, the slope-intercept that can be derived from the points (-4,8) and (4,4) is y=[tex]-\frac{x}{2} +6[/tex], with -0.5 being the slope. To bring this to point-slope form, you must signify the slope and the coordinate intersection. Since there are two coordinates, there are actually two point-slope equations.
