the first step would be to add 3 on both sides meaning you add 3 to c and add 3 to the 3 on the right side of the equation to cancel it out. The equation would now be c+3=(y)h. Next you would divided by h on both sides to get c+3/h=y. FINAL ANSWER: c+3/h=y
