we divide the figure to calculate each area and add them at the end

Parallelogram Area

Triangle Area

[tex]\begin{gathered} A_T=\frac{b\times h}{2} \\ \\ A_T=\frac{6\times9}{2} \\ \\ A_T=27 \end{gathered}[/tex]

Total Area

[tex]\begin{gathered} A=A_T+A_P \\ A=27+135 \\ A=162 \end{gathered}[/tex]
