The Apollo missions help us explore the moon. We have only ever been able to study earth, so exploring and researching our moon may enable us to greater discoveries. It is more convenient than studying Mars, because to reach Mars costs billions of dollars and we have limited money and resources. The scientific research of the moon develops the capabilities from humans to work in a lunar environment, as well as helping us establish the technology to meet other interests in space
