when the variables drop out of the equation, there are 2 possible solutions.....infinite solutions or no solutions.

if u end up with numbers equaling each other....like 2 = 2 or -4 = -4, then this means there are infinite solutions

if u end up with numbers not equaling each other...like 3 = 6 or -5 = 4, then this means there are no solutions
