Given situation: There are 50 tickets in a certain raffle. Then Joan bought 5 of it. Find the probability that Joan might win the raffle => Answer Since she bought 5 tickets and there are a total of 50 tickets in all, the probability that Joan will win the raffle is 5 is to 50. There are 5 chances that she might be winning the raffle. => 5 is the chances that she have => 50 is the total ticket that the raffle have in all. Ratio is = 5 : 50
